Canine Research Foundation

Background

The Canine Research Foundation (CRF) is the official research vehicle of ANKC Ltd.

It is a Public Charitable Trust with research conducted at Australian universities from funds generated via the levy on puppy registrations, fund raising functions, tax-deductible donations and bequests from the public.

The CRF was founded by the VCA in 1992 and 83 research grants have been awarded for projects through to those commencing in 2011. Funding to the CRF is received from all ANKC Ltd Member Bodies.


2017 Grant Applications

Members, Clubs and other organisations please note that the Canine Research Foundation is seeking applications for research commencing in 2017 to be funded under the Foundation's Grants program for the year 2017.

Proposed research projects should be directed towards producing benefit in some aspect of canine health and must be conducted by an Australian University.  Applications will close on 31 MAY, 2016.
